Basic Class Details

• Class: Online PLC Block
• Dates: Wednesday 16^th –  Friday 18^th August, 2023
• Time: 9am – 5pm
• Address: Virtual Classroom hosted on Microsoft Teams

Proposed Class Unit Schedule

Please check your dashboard on your Cloud Assess account to see which of the below units you need to complete; you are not required to attend on a specific day if you have already completed or do not need that day’s unit.

• Wednesday: UEEIC0013 (Morning), UEEIC0015 (After Lunch) – Theory Components
• Thursday: UEEIC0013 – Practical Component
• Friday: UEEIC0015 – Practical Component

(Class structure is subject to change, you will be notified if any changes occur.)

Required Materials

• You MUST have a 64 bit PC with Windows 7 or later; it is not possible to install the PLC software on Apple or Linux devices
• You MUST have a reliable connection to the internet
• You MUST have administrative rights on your PC to be able to download and install the PLC software prior to start of class
• A second screen connected to your PC is highly advisable
• You will need to download and install the following PLC programs:
  • Zelio Soft 2 – Click here to go to the official download page
  • EcoStruxure Machine Expert – Click here to go to the official download page

Class Work and Access to Units

• Theory and Practical assessments will be covered in class
• Ensure that your available units match the units outlined in the class schedule above
• Ensure that you are able to log in to your Cloud Assess account and have access to all of your units before attending class
• If you are unable to log in or do not have access to your units, please email gcreception@eim.edu.au

Important Notice

To ensure classes remain full, if you do not attend class and do not inform a staff member 2 weeks (14 days) or more before class commences, there will be a 3-month stand-down period for rescheduling.
