Summary
Structure
Classroom and Workplace Based This is a 28-month qualification, taught in either a class-based or workplace-based environment. If the student has completed CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, then this is reduced to 18 months. Class-based students will be required to attend class 1 day per week (9am – 3pm) along with self-paced independent learning time, whereas work place based students will be required to complete their assessments while on the job. The qualification is comprised of competency-based training and assessment – no exams! Students will be required to log a minimum of 240 hours experience within a regulated education & care service.
Support
Students will be provided with resources, assessment tools, organisation policies and procedures and reference resources. For class-based students, trainers are available for one-on one mentoring if required. For workplace-based students, trainers will come to visit the student for monthly training and assessment meetings, with additional one-one mentoring by appointment if required.
Eligibility
Students must have appropriate AQF level language, literacy and numeracy skills.

Eligibility
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who already hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CRICOS: 107210A) or a CHC30113 Certificate III in Childhood Education and Care (CRICOS: 083511A).
Students must have passed equivalent Australian Year 11 qualifications, and hold an overall IELTS 5.5 average, or equivalent language level.

Delivery
This is a 73-week qualification, taught in-class with additional vocational placement. Students will be required to attend class 2 days per week (9am – 3pm) along with self-paced independent learning time. The qualification consists of competency-based training and assessment – no exams!
Placement
Students will be required to log a minimum of 280 hours of vocational placement, with EIM International securing this placement on the students behalf.
